Just 3 months into his new job as a Nairobi-based correspondent, now Larry Madowo has been elevated into international correspondent.

Prior to moving to CNN, Larry worked for the BBC as the North American correspondent.
He also was a fill-in anchor for the BBC World News America show that is watched globally and on PBS stations across the United States.
Larry Madowo started his career at the KTN at the age of 20.
