Planet Jupiter will be closer to earth for the first time in 59 years.

At its furthest, Jupiter is 965.6 million kilometers away from the earth.

However, the planet Jupiter will be 590.6 million kilometers away from the earth.

Jupiter will be closer to earth on Monday night and will be seen with naked eyes. So keep tuned to this blog for details and step outside your house on Monday to see it for yourself.

“With good binoculars, the banding (at least the central band) and three or four of the Galilean satellites (moons) should be visible,” Adam Kobelski of NASA said.

According to NASA, you will see Jupiter to the East as sun set sets to the west. Jupiter is the largest planet on the solar system.

This is an extraordinary and rare event that you should not miss.
