Sharing is Caring

John and Johnson vaccine maker has promised to provide 400 million doses of their vaccine to the African Union starting from the third quarter.

This is in an effort to help the African continent to vaccinate at least 60 percent of their population.

At least 121,000 people have been killed in Africa by the Coronavirus and 4.8 million so far infected by the vaccine.

Only a single dose of Johnson & Johnson will be required for full protection from the virus.

Most of the vaccines will be produced by Aspen Pharma in South Africa.

The J&J Single dose has been approved by United States, Canada and Bahrain.
