Sharing is Caring

The Iranian government has identified a minimum of 35 targets to focus on as a revenge for the death of Qasem Soleiman, the Revolutionary Guards commander. He was killed through an airstrike conducted by the United States under the orders of President Donald Trump. This information was communicated by President Hasan Rouhani.

Among these targets are ships in the Strait of Hormuz, Tel Aviv and the Persian Gulf.

“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital point for the West and a large number of American destroyers and warships cross there … some 35 U.S. targets in the region, as well as Tel Aviv, are within our reach,” General Gholamali Abuhamzeh said as reported by Reuters.

‘There is no indication that there is going to be a de-escalation in the near future. The only question is how bad is the retaliation going to be and where and what is it going to hit,’ said a Congress staffer.

During the USA air strikes, a part from the death of the Iranian General, his deputy, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis was also also killed.

“General Soleimani was actively developing plans to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region,” said the US State Department following the attacks.

‘The United States will continue to take all necessary action to protect our people and our interests wherever they are around the world,’ The department added.
