Chandra Kala, has been arrested in connection with the murder of her husband in New Delhi, India.

 

Kala hired a hit man to kill her hubby for spending a lot of time with his first wife.

 

She paid Rs. 1.5 lakh to the assassin known as Jumman to kill her husband. She also ordered the killer to make this murder to look like a robbery.

 

On May 18, local media reported that the husband’s body was found in a pool of blood in Vikas’s Nagar, New Delhi.

 

After that the police launched an investigation. The victim of the murder was identified as Veer Bahadur Sharma, 50.

 

 

Police used call records and discovered that Jumman and Chandra Kala were in constant communication with each other over the phone. Hence, the connection to the murder.

 

 

The woman was arrested and she confessed of organizing the murder.

 

 

“I used to work as a sales woman at his garment shop and he used to harass me. I stayed quiet because I needed that job and, despite knowing the fact that Bahadur was married, I tied the knot with him.”

 

 

She added, “We have two kids but Bahadur used to spend more time with his first wife. Later on, I also came to know that he had extra-marital relationships with other women. He even tried to woo my younger sister.

On May 17, Jumman (the hitman) gained entry into the victim’s house with a hammer and attacked Bahadur two times and he died on the spot.

 

 

Chandra Kala paid Rs 50,000 in cash and jewelry to the hitman to make this murder look like a loot.

 

 

Police have in their custody both the accused and also recovered jewelry and cash form them.
