Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann has admitted it would be ‘’very strange’’ to play behind closed doors.

Barcelona will resume their campaign with a trip to Mallorca on June 13 amid the coronavirus pandemic, which led to the La Liga season being suspended in March.

Griezmann said there was no doubt it would be unusual to play without fans due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

‘’The first game will be in Mallorca, but it will be very strange to play without an audience,’’ Griezmann said during a conversation on Twitch on Thursday.
‘’It will be the first time I have experienced something like this.’’

The Frenchman has scored 14 goals in 37 games this season.

11 rounds of fixtures are remaining to end the La Liga season.

FC Barcelona are on top of the table, two points ahead of second-placed Real Madrid.
