Following the judgement released by the Supreme Court of Kenya to uphold the presidential results, Kenyans will have a chance to see into details what the Judges considered to make the ruling. An announcement was made by Court’s register L.M Wachira the court will release a detailed report via email.

 

“Take notice that the reasons for the judgment of the court, that was delivered in this petition on the 5th day of September 2022, will be delivered on the day Monday the 26th September, 2022, at 2:30pm through email,” Mr Wachira said.

 

The court led by Chief Justice Martha Koome, claimed that the evidence provided by Azimio was hot air and lacked credibility. Koome said that the judgment was anonymously agreed by the seven judges. After the judgement, the former Prime Minister claimed to respect the judgment but did not agree.

 

Meanwhile, Martha Karua plans to take the challenge to East African Courts after failing to get justice. She said that there were no way numbers could be against them and if Kenya cannot provide justice, there is more options.

 

Raila Odinga on the other hand moved to Zanzibar to heal from the poll results and after returning into the country, he assured he will mobilize people who will later ensure elections in the country are conducted manually. He will also put in line the Judiciary which according to the former Prime Minister, it is corrupt.

 

Raila Odinga claimed that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission servers were hacked and elections engineered in favor of President William Ruto. And for this reason, he doesn’t want the electoral agency to employ digital transmission of results because of its vulnerability.
