Former Nairobi City Stars goalkeeper Levis Opiyo has completed his move to Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia.

He has signed a two-year contract with Gor Mahia.

Opiyo thanked City Stars supporters while announcing his move on social media.

Opiyo an integral part of City Stars squad as they gained promotion to the Kenya Premier League.

Rumours say that Sirkal were targeting Opiyo as a replacement for Fredrick Odhiambo who is a target for Wazito FC and David Mapigano whose future remains uncertain.

He was involved in almost all matches for the Kawangware-based outfit las season. He only missed two matches.

Opiyo has experience of playing in the Kenya Premier League having featured for Mathare United, Western Stima and Posta Rangers.

Jcob Osano and Ronny Kagunzi are the only goalkeepers remaining at City Stars.
