Through the Chairman of Egerton Students Council Henry Mulyungi, the students demanded the reopening of the student’s portal for them to pay fees and register examination units.

The examinations were supposed to start tomorrow at Main Campus in Njoro and on Monday at the Nakuru Town campus.

The Students Council also want the administration to delay the use of examination cards and instead allow students use stamped fee statements in the examination rooms.

According to the student council, over five thousand students are to be deferred to the next academic year which will kick off in September 2020.

The Students Council wrote a memo that has been circulating on social media.

‘’We hereby direct all students to assemble at the student center at 11AM today 4th December for continuous picketing until students concerns are addressed,’’ read part of the memo.
