Paris Saint Germain forward Edison Cavani scored his 200th goal for PSG in all competitions in their Ligue 1 match against Bordeaux on Sunday. PSG won 4-3 at fulltime.

The Uruguay International, who turned 33 this month, equalised for PSG with a powerful header from Angel Di Maria’s cross.

It was Cavani’s seventh goal of the season after the striker found himself in and out of Thomas Tuchesl’s starting line-up.

Cavani joined Paris St Germain ahead of 2013-2014 campaign from Serie A club Napoli and he is set to become a free agent at the end of the season.

He became PSG’s all-time top goal scorer in January 2018 when he surpassed Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s record of 156 goals.
