Belgium forward Eden Hazard hobbled off in Madrid’s Laliga game against Levante on Saturday giving the club a major injury concern ahead of the UEFA Champions League last-16 tie against Manchester City.

The former Chelsea star, who was recently sidelined due to a fractured ankle, was clearly in pain and had to be replaced by Vinicius Junior in the 67th minute with the score at 0-0. Madrid went on to lose the game 1-0 at fulltime.

Zinedine Zidane is now waiting to discover the extent of the problem ahead of two huge home fixtures. They play Manchester City on Wednesday before hosting Laliga rivals Barcelona next Sunday.

Hazard was playing his second game since his injury when playing against Paris Saint Germain on November 2nd.

His first season at Madrid got off to a delayed start following a thigh problem in pre-season, forcing him to wait until Mid-September to make his debut following his transfer from Chelsea in June.
