Following the retirement of Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, the position is now vacant and need to be filled.
President Ramaphosa has now announced the shortlist of candidates as follows:
- Mbuyiseli Madlanga
- Mandisa Maya
- Dunstan Mlambo
- Raymond Zondo
The four candidates will be interviewed by the Judiciary Service Commission.
