CABLE CAR SERVICE HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR LIKONI CROSSING

The Government of Kenya has apparently approved the construction of a cable car service project that will ensure efficient transport of people and goods between Mombasa and Likoni.

The director of Public Private Partnership, Joseph Kamau signed the letter of approval. This letter was seen by media houses.

Bakari Gowa, the Managing Director of Kenya Ferry Services confirmed the approval as true and expressed his gratitude to the government.

The cable car service will improve the efficiency of crossing the channel. Currently, it is estimated that over 300,000 people pass through Likoni crossing every single day.

After its completion, apart from relieving the congestion it will also attract tourists to the place.
