Burnley FC to continue paying staff during the Coronavirus crisis

Premier League side Burnley FC will continue paying all matchday and non-matchday casual during the current football shutdown due to Coronavirus.

The FA recently announced that English football is suspended until at least end of April.

The Clarets say payments will include the casual workers employed by the club in the community.

Burnley FC Chief Executive Officer Neil Hart said: ‘’Our overriding priority is to look after the wellbeing of our staff and their families during this testing time.’’

Burnley FC sit at position 10 in the English Premier League table with 39 points after 29 matches.
