Leicester City have confirmed that manager Brendan Rodgers has signed a new contract to keep him at the King Power Stadium until June 2025.
Rodgers was appointed Leicester City manager in February 2019 and has overseen 17 wins out of 26 League games.
The previous deal was to run until 2022 and the foxes are happy to have tied the 46 year old to a new deal.

Leicester City Chairman Srivaddhanaprabha said:’’Brendan’s qualities as a coach are well known and evident in the way he has sought to unlock the potential in every member of our exciting young squad.’’

Rodgers said:’’When I made the decision to come to Leicester City, it was because I was excited about the direction the club was taking and how I could apply my experience to the journey. I came here with a purpose to add something to that and to help the club build for the future.’’
Rodgers praised the staff and also thanked the supporters and the team.

Rodgers has previously managed Watford, Reading, Swansea City, Liverpool and Celtic. He led Liverpool to 2nd place in the Premier League in the 2013/2014 season.
Leicester City are currently second in the English Premier League table with 37 points, 8 behind leaders Liverpool.
Leicester City’s performances this season have seen Rodgers linked with the vacant managerial post at Arsenal after the club sacked Unai Emery.
