Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak became the fastest goalkeeper to reach a century of clean sheets in the Spanish La Liga after the team’s 5-0 thrashing of Osasuna on Wednesday.
Oblak made history by keeping his 100th clean sheet from just 182 La Liga games.
The 27-year-old shattered the record set by Miguel Reina (222games).
The Slovenia international has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers since joining Atletico from Benfica in 2014.
Atletico Madrid now sit fourth in the La Liga table after 29 games following their win over Osasuna.
Diego Simeone’s side are two points clear in the fourth and final Champions League spot, though Real Sociedad are scheduled to play Deportivo Alaves on Thursday.
