Antoine Griezmann scores as FC Barcelona beat Real Betis

FC Barcelona beat Real Betis at Camp Nou Stadium. New FC Barcelona signing Antoine Griezmann scored two goals in the 5-2 win. The Frenchman was signed for £107M from Atletico Madrid. Griezmann lead the Barcelona attack in the absence of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele.

Barcelona thrash Betis 5-2

Nabi Fekir’s opened the scoring in the 15th minute before Griezmann equalized in the 41st minute. The game headed into halftime with a 1-1 draw. Antoine Griezmann added his second goal in the 50th minute before Carles Perez, Jordi Alba and Arturo Vidal added one each at 56th 60th and 77th minute respectively for the Blaugrana. Loren Moron scored the second goal for Betis in the 79th minute.

The win earns FC Barcelona its first win of the season after losing their opening fixture against Athletic Club Bilbao.

The win places FC Barcelona in the 9th place in the Laliga table with three points.
