Alfred Keter who contested as an independent candidate has lost to his opponent Bernard Kitur.

 

Keter became the Member of Parliament of Nandi Hills under Jubilee ticket in 2017 and wanted to retain his seat.

 

He lost in UDA party nomination and decided to join the race on independent ticket. Kitur, his opponent, garnered 23503 votes, outnumbering Keter who had 18037 votes.
