A Chinese man by the name Sun Qiang has been installed formally as a chief in Kwahu Abetifi, a town in the Eastern part of Ghana.
Sun Qiang was named Nkosuohene, which means developmental chief. The title is given to non-royals whose efforts are deemed to have a positive impact to the society.

He was given the title, Nkosuohene (development Chief) for his contribution to the town.

Sun Qiang was given a Ghanaian name (a Traditional stool name), Barima Kofi Ayeboafo.
The name means “one who has done something to benefit others”.
