Juventus have announced that midfielder Sami Khedira will be out for up to three months after undergoing a successful surgery on his left knee on Wednesday.
Juventus had earlier announced that the Germany international would travel to Augsburg for the arthroscopic cleaning procedure in his left knee. He missed Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Sassuolo.
The Serie A champions have reported that the surgery was successful and the midfielder is set to start rehabilitation.
Khedira had the same surgery on his right knee early this year.
