KRA ORDERED TO NAME TAX DEFAULTERS

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has been given 30 days to revel the Members of Parliament who defaulted on their payment of taxes.

  2. This directive was made by Patrick Kiage, Philip Waki and Roslyne Nambuye in response to a petition filed by Rev. Timothy Njoya.
  3. According to the petitioner, 209 former lawmakers of the 10th parliament owns KRA Ksh. 1 billion.
  4. In 2011, KRA issued a 30 days’ notice for MPs to submit their taxes which they ignored.
