Map shows 5 Countries home to 70% of World’s wilderness

The newest map shows that 70% of the world’s wilderness is in just 5 countries.

A study conducted by University of Queensland has revealed that 70% of the global wilderness is found in Brazil, USA, Australia, Russia and Canada.

Conservationists are now calling for the protection of the existing wilderness to protect the world’s ecosystems. All that should be done is to prevent industrialization from spreading to the wilderness.

If steps are not taken by the five nations to conserve the wilderness, we will lose our ecosystems forever.
