Invest in your children

Teodora Boneva argues that parents should invest in their children. While talking to Soumaya Keynes of The Economist, she gave reasons why parents should invest in their children.

When many people discuss about investments, they talk about business people investing in equipment, land and equity. Now, parents investing in their children should also be considered.

The extent to which parents invest in their children has a bearing on how much they will benefit later in life.

The more you invest in your kids, the more these children will acquire in form of skills. Parents should invest in reading materials and do homework with them.

She further noted that it is important to accompany children to the playground and teach them how to both read and write.

Even when children become older, parents can still help them with their academic publications and such other type of support.
