AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE, JULY 4 

United States was born 241 years ago on 4th July, 1776. 

This means that USA effectively divorced Great Britain. 

This is also the date when the Declaration of Independence was signed. 

It was signed by Thomas Jefferson and John Adams.

  1. John Adams – July 4, 1826 
  2. Thomas Jefferson –  July 4, 1826 
  3. James Monroe – July 4, 1831 

All the three presidents were founding fathers of United States of America. 

The 30th President of the United States, Calvin Coolidge was actually born on independence day on July 4th, 1872.
